About this project
Katodesk is the coolest co-working space in my hometown, Katowice. I used to spend most of my working days there. You could feel the buzzing atmosphere in your bones. There are always creative fluids in the air, and they really make people come up with the wildest ideas.
It was a natural choice to organise a creative workshop there. It had been a weak year for design events in Katowice, so me and my colleagues from Sorgo decided organise one ourselves.
The workshop was all about teaching people the basics of Design Thinking in a single day. The task was to carry out a Design Sprint that’s aimed at solving the universal problem of busyness and insufficient time.
The participants had to literally run out to the streets to carry out guerilla research within 45 minutes. I’m amazed to admit that they did a great job.
I’m also happy to say that everyone seemed to really enjoy the process. In a questionnaire that we sent them the next day, people reported that they could actually feel their minds open up.
This is why I work.
